Schloss Frohnburg

Was Gäste
sagen

Leo was a fabulous guide. He had very thorough knowledge of the history of the city as well as its... evolution to its current state. He also peppered the tour asking a lot of interesting quiz questions which were a mix of politics, geography & even landscape of the place which were true knowledge bombs to understand any place deeply and also kept us thinking and actively participating. My quizzing fan husband completely geeked out and felt this was the best ever tour he attended in his entire life. And the best part were his recommendations to eat and see. Every single one of them were gold & some of our best meals/experiences in Salzburg and as tourist very hard for us to find if not for LeoSo Leo's tour is priceless. I have taken tours worth $100 in Europe which pale in comparison to what he delivers in his free tour. No amount of tipping can repay the value that this trip delivers.weiterlesen

We really enjoyed the tour. We had been exploring the town and surroundings based on his... recommendations for the last week. We were very satisfied and happy that we followed Gerhard’s advices on his website. It was a pleasure to continue the journey with the walking tour. The tour was well balanced and instructive. It was everything outside what you get with the Salzburg card. The stories were great and we got to see things that we hadn’t noticed when we walked the city ourselves. I would recommend to everyone to take his walking tour before starting using the Salzburg card.weiterlesen

Very interesting tour of Salzburg, I recommend taking it if visiting Salzburg. Not too long, not... too short either. The tour guide Gerhard was interesting and lovely. Leo was an engaging young man who spoke English nearly perfectly. Walking tour with Leo is one of the best way to explore Salzburg. Leo is extremely knowledable and... very friendly. He explains everything in detail. He does interact with people in the group and it never becomes boring. Even though there are more than 20 paricipants, leo manages the tour very well to keep the attention of all the participants. Some are lackluster, others mega monotonous, and a few mega impressive ones. I loved this walking tour and I recommend it for several reasons. First, because Leo is passionate,... nice and funny. Secondly, because he presents the city in a relevant way, balancing general information (history, politics, culture...) and interesting anecdotes. And finally, because it is not boring. Leo interacts a lot with the group and makes us feel comfortable to ask questions and create exchanges. We leave with a good memory, having learned and memorized a lot of things. And I say all this having spent my visit frozen in the April snow! Go for it without hesitation. This was by far the best walking tour we took in two weeks across Austria and Germany. Our guide... was waiting with a small group at a local landmark, Spirit of Mozart aka Schwarzstraße 1, 5020 Salzburg, Austria. And over an easy 90 mins guided us through the beautiful and historically rich streets of Salzburg. Leo was fun, engaging and deeply knowledgeable about the history, culture and made outdoor learning on a chilly drizzly morning the highlight of the day! At the end of the tour, he gave out a little map and postcard so that we can find our way around and write home with the lovely adventures. Of course, i got to say, the concept of a free walking tour is that it is tip based. This encourages most of us have a freely ranging knowledge share but also, for those of us able to, definitely give what you would've paid for a standard guided tour... or more because the work is excellent. After the tour, Leo stayed behind for quite some time to give curated advice for what to do or see next.Since it is all outdoors, i felt covid safe throughout the trip. You can wear your mask as you feel comfortable to do so. And i would say, the bunker is the only semi-covered indoor spot we ever paused in.weiterlesen

I took the tour with Leo, who made the group have a pleasant time. I have taken many tours and I... can tell he is a professional. Gerhard can tell us what it is - I did not visit.weiterlesen

Tanya, our guide, was wonderful. She gave us an introduction, and I mentioned specific items of... interest that we were hoping to see, and she accomodated! At her usual stopping point, she offered to show us a few more sights if we were interested and we followed her!!! My teenagers were eager to continue the walk and learn more about this amazing city. Tanya, was warm, and enthusiastic and gave us excellent recommendations for one of the best meals we've had in Europe! Thanks again!!!!weiterlesen

My husband and I recently hopped on this free tour in Salzburg. It was very nice, good information... about the city and a nice walk through Old Town. Our guide had a binder of historic photos to share, which I thought was a nice touch. Thank you for a great introduction to a beautiful city!mehr

Lonely Goatherd Fahrradtour Zeitplan
